Ekone Oyster Company located on the shores of Willapa Bay in Washington State, bringing you excellent quality Pacific Oysters. Grown on their farms in Willapa Bay, located on the coast of Washington State, the oysters are grown using the long-line method to promote the highest quality oyster, and ensure they are always free of sand and grit. They are harvested fresh then brought to the Ekone cannery in Bay Center, WA, where the oysters are steamed and opened, then brined in small batches. The brined oysters are then placed meticulously on stainless steel racks and smoked using maple chips. A true classic that is fresh, all natural and allows the flavor of the oysters to shine!
Ekone is a Chinook word meaning “Good Spirit”. Willapa Bay is a large estuary in the southwest corner of Washington. It is considered the cleanest and most productive coastal ecosystem remaining in the continental United States. For over thirty-five years, the family at Ekone and five generations of Taylors have been producing quality, local and sustainable products.
